On 5th April 2011, 18 prominent Suffolk Business Women were cordially invited by the Mayor of Ipswich, Cllr Jane Chambers to visit the Mayor’s Parlour in Ipswich Town Hall.
Conducted by Town Sergeant Andrew Beal, the tour included information about the Mayoralty and Ipswich, as well as viewing the Ipswich Regalia.
The Mayor of Ipswich also encouraged members of Suffolk Business Women to become more involved in local politics and to aspire to know more about the history of Ipswich.
