The first Suffolk Business Women Networking lunch in conjunction with Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and supported by Suffolk County Council took place on 17th November 2010.
The event was attended by 80 Suffolk Business Women (with 20 more women on the waiting list!) and was held at the Ramada Encore Hotel, Ipswich.
Guests included Assis Carreiro, Creative Director and Chief Executive of DanceEast and Sarah Holmes, Chief Executive of the New Wolsey Theatre. We heard from them about their career journey, their expectations for the future and about the challenges business women face in Suffolk. Attendees also had the opportunity to network with colleagues from across Suffolk to share ideas and good practice.
The lunch was also attended by the Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor Jane Chambers and chaired by Lina Hogg, chair of SBW and managing director of Picasso HR Ltd.
